Ham Typed is an asynchronous almanac of unusual information from the mind of Tristan Isham. Created in the Summer of 2020, Ham Typed has been a side project of Isham’s post-undergrad as he’s worked on expanding his skill set as a software developer with a focus on digital publishing and building tools for writers.

At its conception, Ham Typed was positioned to be a new form of media watchdog, barking at institutions that abused the prestige of pure journalism. That proved exhausting, and would have required a full editorial staff to keep relevant. Instead, Isham has spent his time distancing himself from the journalistic establishment. Moonlighting as a consultant, marketer, data analyst, developer, and warehouse worker. Now, having broken many budgets and promises to write more he’s crawled back into the arms of his furloughed lover, with the understanding that writing is for the soul and not much more.
